He will be gone for 4 days. FOUR DAYS. I am excited for him. I am excited to be getting a massage on Monday. I am excited to see what my days of not being a taxi service will be like. THEN I think about what my days will be like without being a taxi service. I am crying inside, smiling on the outside. :)
20 years ago, if you'd told me, "Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17962029402356953034noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298127639861688399.post-77795333617770246842015-05-30T17:46:00.002-05:002015-05-30T17:46:54.039-05:00So, it's been awhile........sorry. Life has a way of getting in the way sometimes. My kiddo is a 9 year old who has a busy life haha.
Today, I come to you very frustrated. Not sure how else to explain it. Oh, wait. Maybe MAD and excuse my language but PISSED OFF. Why? Well, Last summer, wasn't like any other summer in my life. I did a lot of the same things we always do. When May 1 hit, I started planting a garden. My Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17962029402356953034noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298127639861688399.post-41543578006372761272014-05-17T20:34:00.001-05:002014-05-17T20:34:06.183-05:00Belt graduation........with a broken finger! Yes. You read that right. My son broke his finger yesterday while playing soccer. He didn't tell anyone, not even me, when it happened. He waited until he was returning his library books and tells me,"I hurt my finger playing soccer!" I look at it and immediately went into "mommy panic mode".So X-rays we had. Nothing really showed up.....which they tell me is normalHeatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17962029402356953034noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298127639861688399.post-50956018116495302972014-05-04T22:16:00.001-05:002014-05-04T22:16:08.693-05:00Young Living Essential OilsMany don't know, but I'm a Young Living Essential Oil distributor. I love essential oils, especially Young Living. I use so many of them. My husband uses Peppermint oil almost daily. He suffers from allergies(gotta love Ky allergies) & doesn't want to rely on drugs. Say it isn't so! His 1st day of 2nd grade doesn't seem like it was all that long ago. How he's changed since August of 2013! He has had such a great year. In a few weeks, he will be a 3rd grader. ๐ณ I still think he should be this little. Look at my sweet baby :( enjoy your babies. They grow so so fast. Aiden helping a classmate, Kendall. I am not quite sure how it happened. One day, I had a 6lb 9oz baby boy, and today I have a 2nd grader. He's growing into a remarkable young man. I am so proud of him. He's volunteering at school in the garden here. Shoes untied, but he doesn't care. Must get the leaves out of the rocks! Sweeping the Dojang. Must be proof that I am far too busy to be at a computer haha. My sweet boy will be 7 soon. I can not believe it. He's been in every sport known to man kind it seems, 1st grade is half way over already, and Christmas has come and gone. Can you believe that?

He's all dressed up and danced the day away with a very cute Audrey :) This was his "Elegant Party" aka Kinder Prom haha.

I am not sure how this happen. I don't remember telling him that he was allowed to. BUT, it just happened. He's couting to 100, doing MATH(I don't think I was doing math in Kindergarten), Writing sentences, and simply amazing me every single day. What happened to that little 6lbs 9oz baby??? :(

If someone would have told me 6 years ago, that *I* would go through H-E-L-L getting my son to take his medicine, I'd laughed at them. Aiden has Strep Throat (yuck) and instead of a liquid antibiotic, I opted for a pill. You'd think this option would be much easier for a 5 1/2 year old who hates "yucky medicine". BUT OHHHHHH NO. He has gagged even w/the pill version and puked twice. To Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17962029402356953034noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298127639861688399.post-68517155965290054182011-07-15T14:42:00.000-05:002011-07-15T14:42:04.320-05:00ahhhh summerYeah Yeah. When the heat index is 116, you just may think, "I am sick of summer, bring on Fall." HOWEVER, if you know me, then you know that I absolutely HATE winter. I do not like cold weather at all. SNOW? I could go my whole life and never see that stuff and be just fine, thank you very much. I hate it. It's cold, and I can't wear my flip flops in it or I will not have toes left....
SO, I try Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17962029402356953034noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298127639861688399.post-72701295032220344262011-06-02T13:19:00.000-05:002011-06-02T13:19:53.488-05:00Those "color" catchers for laundry....Well, I've been using them for a long time. I do like them, the brands I have used have been great. HOWEVER, I bought a reusable one and wanted to give it a try. I was skeptical but it wasn't expensive.
Did my first load of colored clothes with it today. All I can say is WOW. I really can't believe how well it did. I really think this reusable one does better than the disposable ones I've been Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17962029402356953034noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298127639861688399.post-40722860584789781382011-05-24T20:39:00.000-05:002011-05-24T20:39:27.820-05:00My backyard is a jungle...So this summer, I have seen a whole bunch of bunnies and baby birds in our back yard. WHY are they attracted to my back yard this year??? I have NO idea, but we kinda like it :)
Hello cute little bunny! I live next to a highway, so it's odd to us to see so many bunnies in our yard :)
big bunny. Maybe this is mommy bunny??
she's hiding LOL She's so cute.
It's Easter at our house every day I Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17962029402356953034noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298127639861688399.post-11299748750803572822011-05-24T20:27:00.000-05:002011-05-24T20:27:24.086-05:00Schools out for the summer....So my baby graduated Preschool. Now he's a big kindergartener and I don't think I like it :/ I am quite sure he was just born yesterday...or so it seems.
The cutest preschooler of all time. Yes, I am a LITTLE biased. JUST A LITTLE.
My how this child makes me teary eyed, happy, sad, and thankful all at the same time. Such a sweet sweet boy y'all.
Cowboy day at school. He got to ride a horse. Kentucky got pretty lucky. This storm was pretty amazing and I had to share a few pics we took. My son is amazed by the weather. He loves watching it on tv. We were hit 3 times this day. It would rain, then the sun would come out. The last round, we got hail, lots of rain, strong winds and then, this beautiful Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17962029402356953034noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298127639861688399.post-28390421705588522382011-03-28T18:14:00.000-05:002011-03-28T18:14:16.916-05:00I can't believe he's FIVE!
My baby turned Five March 22. Time sure goes fast when you are a parent. Watching him grow and turn into this sweet child has been a blessing. He had a ball this year. I feel very blessed that we can give him the kind of birthdays that he will remember for a life time. His party was at Yaya's Island and they did a great job! We have a "keepsake" tshirt made every year w/his age and theme of Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17962029402356953034noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298127639861688399.post-43573893629005611502011-02-18T18:22:00.000-06:002011-02-18T18:22:28.646-06:00Valentine's Tea at preschoolValentine's Day isn't just for us adults. Remember the days of handing out cards to all of your classmates? Well, I guess, once you have a kid doing this, you could care less about YOUR Valentine's Day. I was so excited to hear all about his school day, see what cards he got and all the goodies. He had so much fun and so many stories to tell. My baby is growing up way too fast.
Today, was the Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17962029402356953034noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298127639861688399.post-71533032752147190712011-01-28T17:15:00.000-06:002011-01-28T17:15:43.484-06:00He's an old man....for a day :)
The boys dressed up as little old men and he girls as little old ladies. We had Aiden a "Gramps" shirt made to go w/his "conductor" pants as I call them lol.
"Ohhhh my back" lol
Close up of the shirt.
Precious smile. Now who can resist that?

Recently, Joe and I have noticed that Aiden takes FOREVER to eat. He will sit at the table for an hour if we let him. He spends most of his time talking and eating in between. It wouldn't be that big a deal if in the real world we had all the time in the world to eat. He starts kindergarten in August and one of my fears is that he will starve at school because of this habit. Do you remember Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17962029402356953034noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298127639861688399.post-55600363337302900422011-01-08T19:22:00.000-06:002011-01-08T19:22:14.397-06:00My New Years Eve....
Didn't quite turn out like I'd like it. My Grandma passed away. She was in her 90's and celebrated a long and happy life, but even so, I'd like her to still be here with me. She was such a special woman and loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids more than anything. So, I'd like to dedicate this post to her. May she be at peace and know that we are all here waiting to be reunited with her Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17962029402356953034noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298127639861688399.post-80625861386032836132010-12-16T19:53:00.000-06:002010-12-16T19:53:27.887-06:00Christmas Cards 2010This is our Christmas card this year. If you did not receive one, We want to wish all of you a VERY Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. There is no greater reward from God than the gift of our children. Cherish them, love them, let them know every single day just how special they are to you and never ever take them for granted. One day, you will blink and they will be grown. I found MATCHING OUTFITS, yes I did. They were the most precious boys in the world and I adore them. You are fixing to view two of the sweetest boys in the world. Am I biased? What do you think? I'd give them both the moon if I could. The stars in the sky, and anything their hearts desired. 'Girls from New York , they are tough. And girls from Georgia , they are sweet. But those born and bred feisty Kentucky girls, they are the ones you have to look out for. We have sugar and fire in our blood. We can ride a horse, be a debutante, throw a left hook and tell you the entire UK line up all while making sweet tea.
