Here Lately, I have noticed that Aiden gets very impatient about things. I have been warned of this "age". The terrible twos were not so bad. BUT, I think the tantrum threes are going to be pure hell. Also, my child, my sweet little boy-well he's becoming quite bossy here lately! WHAT to do about this behavior? Well, today, he went to time out for about 5 minutes b/c I was quite tired of hearing of complaints about wanting a cookie even though I told him NO. He looks at me and said, "MOMMY I NEED A COOKIE!"
He needs a cookie? What? Is my son becoming an addict? One that thinks he must have a cookie in order to survive? I put him down for his nap and began thinking of all that I think I NEED that I do not get lol. Hmm lets see....
peace,quiet,5 minutes to use the bathroom by myself, time to clean something w/out someone making another mess, a maid,a cook,a doorman,a repairman.....
ok so you get the point. At what age does one KNOW that a need is different than a want? He desires to have a cookie lol, the way I desire to have a margarita when he starts driving me batty. He needs everything I have already done for him. My love,my patience,food,clothes,a roof over his head.....
SO I think I will make a deal w/him! Give mommy all her needs listed above and you can have a cookie!!!! hahaha. Maybe I should talk to my dear husband about that list instead of my almost 3 year old.
I am going to need lots of margaritas w/this age......ugh
